Why am I not receiving my verification email when I create my Fiveable account?

When you create a Fiveable account, you are asked to verify your email address in order to use all of our exciting features.

If you've requested a verification email but haven't received it, please try the following:

  1. Check your inbox and spam/social folders.
  2. Check your account settings to make sure you're using the correct email address.
  3. Wait 30 minutes to an hour - sometimes verification emails can take a bit longer to land in your inbox!

If you've tried the steps above or your Fiveable account email is one that can't receive emails, you'll need to change your email to one that can. Check out this article on how to change your account email.
